The development of the AGLAS Skill Qualification Framework (ASQF) is driven by a response to a critical challenge persisting across many education and workforce systems, fragmentation and a severe lack of interoperability in skill recognition.
While National Qualification Frameworks (NQFs) have proliferated over the last decade, they remain localized. The ASQF White Paper establishes a modern, flexible alternative, a framework built deliberately for cross-border transparency, lifelong learning, and equitable global mobility.
The Mobility Thesis: Across major labor markets, skills are increasingly mobile, but formal qualifications remain locked inside national systems. ASQF acts as an independent calibration framework to uncouple professional potential from geographical boundaries.
